Nancy has both a B.S. and M.S. in elementary education from Illinois State University. She taught at the elementary level before starting a family and returned to teach at ISU as an Instructor supervising elementary education student teachers.
Nancy also developed a successful direct sales business, and recruited, taught, and encouraged a team of 300 women. This opportunity enabled her to work from home so she could also support her family.
In 1979 Nancy earned her Illinois Real Estate License. She worked for a large company in Bloomington, IL. She has been a leading Realtor, along with her husband who is now retired, at Apple Canyon Lake since 2004. She uses her compassion and negotiating skills she developed in both education and business to help her real estate clients. Nancy has a passion for helping people attain their real estate goals, whether buying or selling.
Nancy grew up in Freeport, IL where she met her husband, John. They were married in 1968. They have three children who are married, and thirteen grandchildren. There is great joy in watching the grandchildren grow, develop talents in sports and music, and participate in mission trips. Nancy and John enjoy the companionship of their two dogs, Josie, an Airedale, and Daisy, a Goldendoodle.
They purchased their first property at Apple Canyon Lake in 1982, so Nancy is very familiar with the lake and surrounding area.
Nancy’s interests include wellness, reading, cooking, sewing/quilting, gardening, music/singing, traveling, and dogs.
Priorities: faith, family, helping others.
