No matter the season, Lake Carroll's unique geography makes it perfect for recreation, and our experienced team at Fawnridge has the resources to guide you through the Lake Carroll IL map both on paper and in person. Containing 22 miles of shoreline, 636 acres of water, and surrounded by 14.5 miles of hiking and ATV trail, Lake Carroll has something for everybody. By the dam, you'll find the beach, West Marina, and Equestrian Area. Lounge by the beach in the summer or take the family out on the yacht in the West Marina. Visit the Equestrian Area to ride your horses or visit the Equestrian Club's miniature horses, otherwise known as "minis." On the North Bank, explore Pell Park or ride your bike by Three Tubes to enjoy the temperate summer weather. View scenic landscapes, hike gorgeous hills and valleys or watch local wildlife like deer and turkeys.

From there, travel south down Lake Carroll Boulevard to golf at our semi-private 18-hole golf course. Mingle with other residents and have a drink at the Clubhouse.

Travel farther south down the Lake Carroll IL map to reach the East Marina where you can enjoy fishing – whether you're relaxing on a boat in the summertime or ice fishing in the winter. Lake Carroll is home to an excellent fish hatchery that keeps the lake full of walleye, largemouth bass, catfish and many more types of fish.

Continue down Lake Carroll Boulevard to the Aquatic Complex, where you can choose to swim outdoors during the warmer months or indoors all year long. Camp at our 113-acre campgrounds with 132 campsites (with electrical and water hookups), or relax and grab a snack at the Plum Tree Lodge. In the winter, visit our Ski Hill. It features a tube tow and an easy slope for both skiers and sledders of all ages. If you’re a more advanced skier or snowboarder, jumps, moguls, and ramps allow you to test your skills.
